How to stay hydrated this summer;
That’s right we’re talking about drinking more water! Staying hydrated is absolutely vital to good health no matter your age, health status or physical activity level.
💧Be Mindful- track your water intake.


💧Set reminders on your phone 📲
💧Drink 2 liters of water regularly, in the summer drink up to 3 liters a day.


💧Don’t overexert in the heat.
💧Don’t wait till you’re thirsty to drink.


💧Make it fun- infuse water with fresh &/ or frozen fruits.

💧Drink electrolytes like coconut water or sports drinks.


💧Carry a water bottle with you & drink up even more when exercising & sweating.


💧Eat foods high in water content such as fruits & veggies such as watermelon, cantaloupe, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, zucchini etc..


💧Look out for signs of dehydration such as; dry mouth, very thirsty, dark colored urine, tired , dizziness, headache, nausea etc…
