Maintaining a balanced life is becoming more & more important for your personal health and well-being in a fast-paced, modern world. Sustaining a balanced diet, alongside personal fitness, can help improve and stabilize overall health and wellbeing.
According to the Rambam in Hilchot Deot Perek 4 Halacha A “It is important to have the mental space – In order to serve our Creator it is therefore an obligation for a person to distance himself from any harm to the body….the person is obligated to engage in behaviors that will bring the body health, and strength, that will make you stronger and healthier….”
One of the ways of Hashem is to take care of our body to make it healthy. Health is essential and indispensable part of the way to serve Hashem- Our Creator.
Bringing you tips that you can simply Stick to – because creating a Healthy Lifestyle has to be attainable, enjoyable and realistic;
1- Make your Health routine your own NOT one that’s made for someone else but One that’s ideal for YOU!
2- Move your body the way that you love and do it consistently. Formal structured workouts are great but if you don’t love it you won’t enjoy it and then you won’t stick to it so do what you love ♥️
3-Hydrate: For keeping energy levels up.
Poor hydration leads to poor habits.
We are composed of 60% water.
Kickstart the tone of the day by hydrating as you awake.
4- Sleep; (my biggest challenge- I’m a night owl)
By getting enough sleep our body regenerates itself. Lack of sleep increases cortisol, making you more stressed, & increase hunger hormones (gherkin).
5- Learn to indulge & course correct. It’s not all or nothing mentality. A balanced lifestyle allows you to get back on your nutrition plan the following day. Guide yourself back on track without punishing yourself or feeling guilty.
Here’s a video where I’m discussing these 5 tips then bringing you to a fun workout, cause I love to bring you value, not just by educating you but by impacting you with a fun workout that you can follow along…try it out for FUN!!
Which one makes the most sense for You ? Start with the simplest point & move up from there.
Dance & do what you ❤️ love ❤️
