I’ve been making these cookies for years, not because I wanted to have a healthier version ( ok, partly what we all want) but mostly because I’ve had ripe bananas laying around the kitchen and this recipe I developed years ago became a staple, not only in my house (yes kids were able to eat them all in one sitting) but mostly because those girlfriends that were not bakers, made them cause they are just that simple to make.
For video instructions on how to make these very easy & simple cookies:
These cookies are not only healthy and delicious and the best part of it all is that they contain
no sugar
no flour
no eggs.
So what’s in this recipe?
Simple ingredients :
*Ripe bananas ( here we used 3 ripe )
*Oats ( 1/2 the oats were blended with bananas) other half added for consistency aka thickness. Gluten-free oats are available for any gluten-free option.
* Maple Syrup ( Pure & Organic)
*Chocolate Chips ( Highest Quality Cocoa Chips )
Optional add-ons:
* Cinnamon
*Almonds
*Nuts
*Peanut Butter
*Shredded Coconut
*Cranberries
* and whatever else you fancy
Enjoy at anytime of the day, these definitely make delicious snacks, great with a good cup of coffee, for breakfast and the best kids love them too!!!
